Presque Isle is located between Grand Lake and Lake Huron as you enter Presque Isle County. Grand Lake is a great vacation and fishing lake. Presque Isle is a small harbor community that is home to both old and new lighthouses. Presque Isle has a superb harbor that hosts countless boats during the summer season. The area is filled with white birch forest. Thompson Harbor State Park offers excellent hiking opportunities. There are two beautiful lighthouses with maritime museums, a beautiful harbor and beaches. Several nice restaurants are located with a view of Bell Bay.
